artresearch.com.au is run by Stephen Scheding, a private art researcher and art consultant specialising in Australian art. He has been working in this area for over 30 years and his personal library on Australian art is one of the largest in the country. He is the author of numerous articles on art and is well known for his books on Australian Art (please click on the book covers for reviews of Stephen’s books and articles).

Stephen Scheding is currently working on his third art book and during 2005 is unable to commit to research commissions. However, future research projects may be discussed using the contact page.

Stephen Scheding is able to discuss consultancy projects in relation to the development of private and corporate collections or queries in relation to the value, authenticity, provenance or purchase of significant art works.

Stephen Scheding is also available to bid at auctions in Sydney on behalf of institutions and private collectors who do not want to publicly reveal their interest or who wish to protect their privacy.
